Sorry Cornsey, I am with Mal, the two class batsman in world cricket on a pitch that resembles a minefield, plus quality bowling.

I must admit we are saying this because our cricket is crap, but compelling viewing IMO.

At least we get to see the real number 1 spinner in the world bowl. Barj is fantastic, cant see how swann can even be mentioned in same breath as him.
If kallis cant continue india will romp home.

Best 2 teams in the world playing
Series 1-1 all
TENDULKAR + KALLIS the best 2 current batsman in the universe making tons
STEYN the best fast bowler in the galaxy taking 5 wickets
SINGH arguably the best spinner in the cosmos taking wickets
KALLIS injured and gutsing it out in pain
362 v 364
SA 5/117 a lead of 115

This is one of the very best battles Ive ever seen
Its an epic to compare with the old Woodville V Wingfield battles in the 1990s

Not sure there Jimbo, I think anything over 150 will be difficult. Great spell by the antagonist as well. India probably lucky that SA only have Harris, but the pace attack will make it difficult.

I meant that if kallis cant go on i can see them only leading by 130ish.
The first half hour of indias innings will decide the match, if sehwag gets going they will win in an hour or so

Heeeeez baaacccccck
Guess whose the bad boy AGAIN
SREESANTH back to his childish ways
Has 2 LBWS turned down in an over, spits the dummy
Walks away kicks the turf
Kicks the rope at fine leg
Carries on like a little immature kid
Both decsions on Hawkeye were shown to be the corretc desicions
The crowd boos and jeers SREESNATH

IN 6/150
KALLIS 38*[89] has more guts than Bayman ...
BOUCHER 17*[19] magnificent in adversity, making his highest score of the series, when his team needed to

WHO WILL WIN
I reckon a par score would be about 251
This deck is a bowlers haven

Gutsy innings by kallis. Kallis and boucher starting to bat india out of match. Lead nearly up to 200

SA 362
IN 364
SA 6/212
KALLIS 67*[163]
BOUCHER 46*[69]
What a session by the Proteas
Partnership of 74 runs
Lead of 210

226 KALLIS
146 TENDULKAR

The one chink in Sachins career is some of his failures in the 2nd innings
For whatever reason, the man that rises to the occasion batting in the 2nd digs is Laxman

The problem for SA is that they will be 1 bowler down
KALLIS extremely unlikely to bowl

Anymore excitement out of you MAL and there'll be a STEYN in the loungeroom.

How about you start a topic similar to how you made your entry to safooty about Steve Waugh and 2nd innings efforts on SAchin ?

Been there done that and copped it as well
Nah wont slander Tendulkar in a thread
Just some gentle reminders about his 2nd innings chokings via posts

It would be something if TENDULKAR and KALLIS scored tons in each innings of this current Test
it would be history in the making
And would give Lightning Mac some ammo

SA 6/222
KALLIS 74*[178]
BOUCHER 48*[72]

Kallis gets his 40th ton. Saffers recover from 6/130 to post 341. India need 340 to win on last day. Reckon they will be happy to bat the day out and escape with a draw

SA 362
IN 364
SA 341
Stumps with one day left Tsotsobe out on the last ball of day 4

SA were
0/50
4/64 all 4 wickets to Singh
SA were in allsorts, but the man KALLIS was still there
get him out at this stage SA would have been out for prob between 125 -200 runs
But KALLIS made 109 *[240]
The only SA batsman to score tons in each innings twice for SA
This game he made 270 runs, once out
In 2007/08 he made 155 + 100* against PA, making it 255 runs once out
BOUCHER 55, STEYN 32, MORKEL 29 all helped the champ
KALLIS batted injured making this innings one of historys greatest innings

IN need 340 for a highly improbable win
To win it prob wont be TENDULKAR that will get them home, his job prob will be to save the Test
The match winner would be SHEWAG, only he can score quick enough to set up a win

Its been a great match
Pity SA didnt make about 50 runs less, this lead makes it a probable 2 result only match, SA or DRAW

KALLIS 270
TENDULKAR 146 +

Ive put $100 on the draw but also threw $50 on india.
My reasoning is that sa battled back from 6/130 and apart from kallis they have a long tail. They batted comfortably for last two sessions. The pitch is breaking up so it will be like a home track for india. The saffers have a spinner who wouldnt bowl a district club out, so if they can see off steyn early i reckon india can do it. Small ground with sehwag, tendulkar, gambhir and dhoni in flight could be entertaining. Plus india have the worlds best 2nd innings batter in laxman

I think Sehwag is on no dose, Indians playing for a draw. Good luck Locky some of us have to work. Starting to wear off, Duminy drops him at point.
