Clarke 4 boundaries off his last 5 balls  .

The run rate is going very nicely at the minute.

Good to see these two batting so well they are a pleasure to watch.

not disrespecting OUR skipper Mal??

Not all all
Im showing scant respect for AAmir who blows kisses, sledges our batters
Good to talk the talk, as he did with 5 wickets
But being an abnoxiuos person on a cricket field can come back to bite you
Today was an example he dropped a hello dolly, even Louis Armstrong might have caught it

As for Ricky, I dont bag the man, heeza legend
I was concerned at his batting approach this morning
He could have been out several times b4 20 runs
But heeza champ, becoz champs make you pay

AU 3/248
AAMIR 113*[176] Today proved something for me, that Ponting would be a good middle order batter
CLARKE 83*[136] Tested early, but now looking distinguished

Why not number 3 ?
Dont take my word for it, just look at his innings the last 18 months or so batting at 3
He would be averaging about 35-40 runs
Dont get carried away with the ton today
B4 he got set today it was close to the worst 25 Ive seen him make
He is 35 years old and will be tested out with short pitched deliveries for the rest of his career with a newish red ball at 3
Batting 5-6 will suit him better in my opinion

3-0 here weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee cum
Another Test victory in sight for our team
A win would cap off a sensational summer
5 wins and a draw and no losses

Punta and Pup who have been M.I.A most of the summer are killing em

Another sleepless night for Ponting

Im not suggesting otherwise, my point was that I think it pretty obvious that a bloke who averages over 55 batting at 3 would be handy in the middle order. I was taking the p*ss mal, relax :D

Yep it is pretty soft isn't it? Day one.. they aren't going to get a wicket by bowling outside off every ball so the aussies will just keep batting.
