Didnt think he would ever move fast enough to do that.

Ive heard otherwise. Not trying to be smart but I believe its more to do with his general fitness. Hodge just brings up his 150 with a massive 6. 3/418.

Does anyone know how many 100s Hodge has now made in 1st class cricket and more importantly how many of those are against the redbacks. It would have to be more than 10.

Hodge 169* ;)
Vic 3/452 48 more for 500+ ForMALity ;)
Vic to win by 9 wkts (might have been safer to say an innings) ;)

Now i've proven myself as a Nostra-JJ-Damus when it comes to cricket there will be a $10 charge for any further tips.

Dont be too harsh on the great man mt79, whilst watching the cricket Friday with him, he reluctantly steered me into Ryans Journey at GDP but stopped short of declaring it a LATE MAL. WON by a length ...................

Well when you have a thin batting lineup followed by a gentle bowling attack, then this was only a matter of time.
But to be honest even at full strength the Vics would have killed us.

We need to be realistic and not bag SA for this. We are playing a side that has dominated domestic cricket for while now and is so far ahead in development it's not funny. We have a young side that is having a real go and i for one can see a bit of a future for some of the players. Look at the positives not the negatives.

Absolutely agree RR
We are Taitless, Clearyless, Duvaless in bowling stocks
And for those who are insidously canning this young team, remember that SA is actually going for about its 5th win in a row in SS games

The batting was the dissapointment in this game
FLUSH
MCKAY
MCDONALD
HASTINGS who is a '''battler''
MCGAIN

Apart form Flush there is not much venom in this attack on a featherbed Adelaide Oval track

PS
JJ must be a joy for you to watch cricket and spounge tips of me !

It would be nice to nurse the 2 openers thru and build them up , but they both have to be strike bowlers now

VIC 1/160

The $1-64 offered on VI to get most points this game now looks more of a gift

SA 292
VI 7/625
ROGERS 149
HODGE 195
MCDONALD 106*
HASTINGS 26*

That very friendly attack is being pasted
VI only lead by 333 runs DRAW is our salvation
If he gets to 20 runs the forgotten man, the ex Victorian batsman will make a big score for SA
