Pietersen and Collingwood are just toying with the spinners ... but they just keep on bowling. Ponting is really stuffing this up big time. Is he just bowling the spinners because he's afraid of the over rate?

Thanks AH ... it means I just have to refresh this page while I'm watching the cycling instead of bothering to change channels. ;)

As for you CP ... [-X

Well, well. Ponting has just remembered he has 3 pace bowlers and bought Siddle back on!!!!

Tougher job for the pacemen now .. two batsmen are well and truly played in and the ball is stuffed.

Not now, we've bowled spinners for most of the session. Pietersen to 50, and the promise of many more to come. Collingwood to 50 as well. I expect these two to bat well into the 3rd session. ANOTHER BLOODY NO BALL FROM HAURITZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had a gutful of this.

Partnership is looking very dangerous, these two bat well together i remember that adelaide test so well. It had a great finish after their superb partnership.

Exactly. I just don't understand tactics in contemporary sport, it just leaves me scratching my head. Why Hauritz started the 2nd session when the pacemen had England in bother at lunch just astounds me. And ever more, why he bowled through the entire session is a total mystery.

It just smells to me as though Ponting was worried about being fined again for slow over rates instead of trying to win a Test match.

At least the Oz cricket team have given you something to live for in that time, and if they start to falter, don't say you weren't told about 111 (lol Dicky Bird wouldnt hear of it) :D
