2/140
Borgas 56*
Klinger 51*

A positive partnership that will hopefully take us past 200.

If we don't get first innings points here I may never attend a Rebacks game again (except on Sunday, and a few after that).

You get my point.

Excellent day for the Redbacks, i don't care about the run rate, take as long as you need boys, as long as you both make hundreds!

I was there for the last hour or so and Fair dinkum, i had more beers than runs were scored. SA cricket is going nowhere under it's present coach. Just cant see how SA are going to get into a position to have a crack at outright points from here.

JJ we have set out innings up..... we have only faced 66 overs. we had a tricky few over before the last session. We opened with 2 debutants and rely on this partnership to get us well into the 200s. First innings points are the priority here and how we get those 2 points it doesnt matter. Its confidence we need and knowing we can actually win a game will see us be able to chase down runs quicker etc and go for an outright

and the same blokes whinging about the slow rate would be the first calling us pathetic if we were 5/120. At least this way we are still some chance at outright....

At any stage with the Redbacks, 2/140 can quickly turn to 6/145 - I am just happy that we are in a good position to claim first innings points!

wickets in hand is the key..... hey we are half way there..... we can get about the 300 mark at lunch or drinkin the second session we bat until we have 5 overs at them at the end of the say try and jag a few wickets and then and bowl at them tomorrow..... still plenty of time for an outright

Take as long as you need and your reward will be two points. Just ask the Vics who took four points out of matches against the Redbacks and the Blues. That might prove very costly for the Bushrangers come March.
