Sometimes I get the feeling that some of youse would prefer these guys to falter instead of succeeding

Im only interested in 1 thing beating the Indians

Yeah today he's been good, mixing things up a bit whereas he normally just bowls it short and wide outside off.

Yeah that session was not bad at all. White almost picked up his first wicket on the last ball before Lunch. Another session like that and we will be looking ok.

Probably not, different dismissal though. Ball pitched outside off, hit the pad outside off, so cant be given out.

Last summer he did bowl too wide and was not good enough. He has improved a hell of a lot and well done to him.

Mal, i have nothing against Watto. I hope he does well. The thing that irks me about him though is that he gets gifted opportunities that he hasn't earned whilst guys who deserve a chance never get it. For example David Hussey deserves a chance more than Watto. Ashley Noffke is a far superior cricketer than Watto as well and if looking for an allrounder the selectors should be looking to Noffke. It's not that i want Watto to fail at all. I hope he does really well cos he's playing for Australia however i feel really sorry for blokes who have worked really hard and have earned there chance only to see the selectors go for a guy they hope might be alright.

And whilst i'm ranting, it is obvious that unlike you the selectors sole focus is not on beating India. If it was then there is no way known Andrew Symonds would be playing on the GABBA minefield right now.

On White, well he has been given a game simply because there is no-one else who is any good. He is not taking the spot of anyone who deserves it more although you could perhaps argue that we should have played a fourth seamer.
