same old story Mal, get an opportunity you take it, 3 out of the 4 you have up there had that opportunity and didn't in one way or another, watchjed the three of them play and thought that they weren't all that great (yes I know Hodge got 200) but watch Jaques, he looks like he belongs out there

Agree locky. Plus Hodge would be slamming his fist about his own form at the moment. He needs to worry more about making a run himself rather than what anyone else is doing.

I think Hodge was kidding himself thinking he was going to open for Australia and, in chasing too hard and moving to opener for Vic, lost his form and banged his own nail in the coffin.

Hodge still next in line for a middle order spot if there's an injury
In between signatures .....

Just for something different Mark Taylor compared the careers of Warne + Macgill.....
Just let Stewy bowl please
How about comparing Mike Hussey with Clem Hill just for a change

Lankans cruising again

3/242

As in my earlier post I reckon they will give this 507 nudge, as for Macgill 16 overs for 100 or thereabouts, why is he bowling has a very bad elbow injury, possibly a chipped bone, need to get rid of the two at the wicket at the minute, they get going tomorrow this game will be over by tea, remember everyone record chases get got in Tassie

Oh well the Lankans need 259 tomorrow in 90 overs with 7 wickets in hand, that aint even 3 an over, Aussies need to strike early tomorrow, no clear cut result here at the minute It can go all four ways :D

It is not over but if the Aussies get an early breakthrough then i cant see Sri Lanka winning. On todays play, what a super knock by Kumar. 6 Hundreds in his last 12 hits, and now has got one against a very good attack. Could be over by tea either way especially with Jayasuria and Kumar batting. MacGill is bowling rubbish at the moment. For me Johnson and Lee look the most dangerous.
