Australia announced their squad for the upcoming series against England. Plenty of chips to be made from this squad.

Australia's ODI squad for English series beginning Aug 29: Clarke, Bailey, Ahmed, Coulter-Nile, Faulkner, Finch, Hazelwood, Hughes, Johnson, Marsh, Maxwell, McKay, Smith, Starc, Voges, Wade, Warner, Watson.

Fawad Ahmed took 2 wickets in 5 games in the recent 'A' series. He went for over 6 an over virtually every game. How can he be selected over Doherty? Disgraceful decision.

Maddinson should consider himself a bit unlucky.

Hope Coulter-Nile gets a go. Can play!

Smith was dropped during the Sri Lanka ODI series in Australia, but hey, let's give the lad another go, he might have improved....

Yep, Maxys Card is marked never to play international cricket. Just hope he brings home this sort of form into the Redbacks early season games

Cant stand T20 cricket but have to admit that was a fair knock by Finch.

I watched the highlights this morning geez there were some good shots. Some absolute hacks as well but it is T20. He hit the ball quite cleanly it would be nice to see him carry that form into the 50 over stuff.
