He gets these random periods of being completely over the top and yelling about everything.

Settle down mate far out.

Agree Pattinson wasn't the greatest, but geez give him a break, he's 21, just in the Aussie side (which alone he is probably pinching himself for how well things have gone) and first time in front of the mike.

Not a big fan of Healy in whichever format of the game. Others like Slater, Brayshaw and Taylor annoy me when they overhype the 20-20's, but during the tests Slater and Taylor are very good and Brayshaw is bearable (which is the biggest compliment I can ever pay him).

I reckon after Chappell and Benaud he's the bet commentator nine have got along with Taylor. Only thing I don't like about Healy and Taylor is when they try to "get it up vibe and interesting". Be yourselves boys let the pictures tell the story.

I like how Healy, Taylor benaud and Chappel are always one step ahead of the play when it comes to what is happening in the game and their technical knowledge on batting and bowling is alway on the money.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

The Channel Nein commentary team have always been shithouse the only one I can handle is Bill Lawry who almost takes the piss out of himself. It's all trying to sell this or sell that, pumping up our guys 24/7, OTT faux-excitement etc. The annoying commentary is why I'm only ever half interested in our Aus summers of cricket.

When I had Fox I used to love watching our tours along with the superior commentators around the world.

To be fair to Healy, I agree with this. The other three are my favourites, and it's no surprise they are the 3 best Aussie captains, at least within living memory.
