No disrespect to Dizzy (I think this is great!!!), but if he gets to 200, Taslim Arif may lose the title as the worst batsman ever to score a test double century :)

It would be great to see his highest score be a greater number than his total wickets!

Haha, Mark Waugh never got a double-ton.

Lunch on day 4.

4/558

Gillespie 186*, the highest score ever by a nightwatchman. and the highest score by an Australian against Bangladesh.
He beats Mike Hussey who scored 182 with him in a partnership of 320 for the 4th wicket.

LMAO. Why would he do that? Hohns was part of the selection panel that kept picking the guy when the Poms were pasting him all over the park! Short memories my good man!

Well we have seen the aussies set an unbelievable once in a lifetime one day score only to see the side that conceded it chase it down and win. We have seen Bangladesh nearly beat us after having us on the ropes and the ref about to count us out and now a recognised numnber 9 batsman about to make a double ton!

no - all seems okay to me 8)

Hey Spelly, when was the last time a player's maiden first class century was a Test Double Century? Brendon Kuruppu? (Not that Dizzy is quite there yet...)

All the more exceptional considering he never got past 58 in 167 previous first class innngs!
