Last Round of Pura Cup

SA vs NSW

NSW have plenty to play for with a home final up for grabs, Simons Katichs amazing season has now turned into a record breaking one with his 1328 runs (at 102.5) being the most runs in a first class season by a NSW player. He has scored 5 centuries and has scored all of them against different states. If he could score one more then he will break the most centuries in a season by a NSW player, Amazing effort. All the redbacks have to play for is pride and that is stretching it, lets hope they dish up something respectable this week.

Vic Vs Queensland

Victoria need to win to have any chance of hosting the final after their slip up against the Warriors and that will be all that is on Cameron White's mind considering they can not miss the final. Being played at the G so will help the Vics and i expect them to win but cant see the Redbacks beating the Blues so expect the final to be heading to Sydney. Interesting to see that Victoria have dropped Matthew Wade and replaced him with Adam Crosthwaite.

WA VS Tas

Played in Perth, this match says goodbye to 2 state greats in Michael Di Venuto and Justin Langer. Di Venuto passed 10'000 runs last week and JL needs 203 to do so also which would be a remarkable effort. Both sides will be looking to give these players a send off they deserve and some will be looking to impress given Australias recent form and the long schedule coming up.

interesting lineup for the redbacks
D.Harris
Brown
Ferguson
Christian
Deitz
Manou
Bailey
Cleary
R.Harris
Cullen
Rofe

extended tail but the bowlers have been batting better than the top order anyway so shouldn't make too much difference. also the lack of 5th bowler in the last match without the likes of adcock, cosgrove or lehmann was a bit costly

8/93.......it's almost comical. You would think that surely these blokes could put one good innings together somewhere, even just by luck?
