New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka by 28 runs in the first of two Twenty20 games at Lauderhill in Florida. These two matches are the first games to be played in the US by ICC full members.

How quickly they forget Australia and Pakistan in the US in 1990...

Doesn't include the game played at the LA Colesium, which may not have been a "match" as IIRC it was played on matting.
