Australian U/19 World Cup Side Named

Selectors announed not long ago that the below players have been selected in the U/19 World Cup Side. The World Cup is held in New Zealand in January 2010

The Australia Under-19 World Cup squad is:
Mitchell Marsh - Western Australia - CAPTAIN
Timothy Armstrong - New South Wales
Tom Beaton - Western Australia
Nicholas Buchanan - Queensland
Jackson Coleman - Victoria
Luke Doran - New South Wales
Benjamin Dougall - South Australia
Jason Floros - Queensland
Josh Hazlewood - New South Wales
Alexander Keath - Victoria
Nicolas Maddinson - New South Wales
Alister McDermott - Queensland
Kane Richardson - South Australia
Thomas Triffitt - Tasmania
Adam Zampa - New South Wales

And My man has been named Captain. No real suprises i guess! Absolute star in the making!!

He should dominate that Cup, he is performing very well playing with the big boys while most of his team mates have hardly played at all by the looks of it.

McDermott, Richardson, Marsh and Hazelwood appear to be the ones first first class experience at this stage.

I think we will also see the Mitch Marsh the all rounder in this tournament. Has not been bowling for WA yet, but is a quality all rounder and could well be a very handy player for AUS in the future. Plus he is captain, so he should bowl a fair bit ;)

Hazlewood should also do very well in this tournament.

Looking forward to this in Feb.

Well done to the Murray Bridge lad Ben Dougall for making the side.

The Buchanan listed, i wonder if its the son of ex Aussie coach.
