Eng V Aust 5th ODI

Postby jackpot jim » Wed Sep 16, 2009 1:32 am

England won the toss AGAIN and batted.

Eng 2/98 20 overs.

England selectors r a joke.
How Boparra keeps getting a game is anyones guess.
FAILS again.
OUT slogging again for 18.
Has NO IDEA about constructing an innings.
5 - 0 coming up.

3/105 22.3 overs
Denley out for 45.
As Gower just said, Eng just continue to make the same mistakes over and ovae and over again.
Just keep throwing their wickets away with pathetically SOFT dismissels.

Revenge for Watto.

11 runs and a wicket from that over, should've been 2/6.

Hussey would've made sure to stay clear of Watto at that huddle.

Great knock by Ponting, I saw one six he hit earlier in his innings off Sidebottom and it was massive. Even he said probably the sweetest timed shot he's ever hit.

That was one of the best shots I've seen. And Johnson's shot to finish was just about the perfectly timed ball you could hope to see.

Chuck Mitch up the order I reckon, no one hits the ball harder than he does in our line-up IMO. Well worth the gamble, if he got firing during the opening power-play we'd score near 400.

I would have good things to say if i hit the ball like that too. It was an amazing shot and still a cricket shot not a across the line hack.

Johnson is going to cause some real damage very quickly one day, when things fall his way he will be capable of a very quick century, he hits them so cleanly and hard.
