Of that Academy Squad listen out for names who will be playing Grade Cricket in Adelaide over the summer.
Last season there were some names floating around as follows:

Monty Panesar (Glenelg)
James Hildreth (Adelaide)
Phil Mustard (TTG)
Bilal Shafayat (Woodville)
Liam Plunkett (Uni)

Simon Jones has been told by medicos in the US that he shouldn't return to playing full international cricket matches some time in June 2007!

I am bitterly disappointed that he is not playing in the Ashes this year. He would have made a huge difference to the English team, and had he been named in the squad, would have worried a few of the Australian middle-order batsmen (notably Clarke & Martyn).

Aussie to win back the Urn in a canter.

Poms have named a lot of injured players, obviously desperation.

Simon Jones is a class act and would perform well down under, he is a massive out.

Blink and RM I'n not sure given the relative grass covering on our wickets and the dry environment reverse swing doesn't work as well out here, plus we have different peppermints.......

He would still go pretty well, but the amnount of reverse would be reduced, quite possibly the diffrence between a nick and a thick outside edge that lands in front of the slips, or a ball that misses the bat and one that nicks the bat and then hits the pad (except if you are D Martyn batting at Trent Bridge and Buckner is umpiring......)

Jones bowled as quick as bretty lee before injuring his knee on the last tour of Aust at the GABBA. He was easily quicker than Harmison and Flintoff and swung the ball, but obviously didnt get the steep bounce the other two get.....needless to say he would be a massive handful.

Chris Broad's young son - dont be surprised to see him taken as well as cover for Harmison/Flintoff. He is gonna be a top rate bowler!
