An extreme version of Damien Martyn.

LOL....you seriously are probably the worst poster on here this week or at best badly out of form

First you say the Pokies and the Sharemarket are the same thing

and now you say Hodge is not good in the shorter forms fo the game, FFS at the moment he is probably the best T20 batsmen in the world!!! he is averaging 65 this season alone

and did he put himself ahead of this team on Wed night? ripped his Hammy early but didnt retire hurt, he stayed out there and guided the team home

Wow, you need to start learning to read mate. Take a deep breath, compose yourself and then have another go.

he was a very good shield player one of many unlucky players who missed out because of the great team we had in the 90's. if he was at or near his best and a couple years younger he would be worth having in the side

Was?

He just knocked up 261 against the side currently sitting 2nd (granted not their best attack) and was averaging over 40 before this innings

I think everybody knows he is good enough.

But you are right, he will never play for Australia at Test Level again.

If Hussey fails in the third test and Hodge gets a big, big 100 in the Shield final he's a chance, fingers crossed.

Hodge is no chance whatsoever. No matter how many runs he makes there is a big cross through his name. Age is against him and the comments he made regarding playing lawn bowls instead were the icing on the cake and effectively ended any chance he had of ever wearing the baggy green again. Rightly or wrongly international cricket will never see Brad Hodge again.

Maybe Hussey, although Hussey deserves one or two more chances. Imagine if Hussey cant find form in England or there is an injury to a batsmen, Hodge would be a handy inclusion especially if the series is tight.

Lets hope that same cross has been put through Symonds name. It would be injustice If he gets picked in front of Hodge.

I missed the poll, but I would have voted yes.

When the Test team is overseas Hodge is in the best 6 batsmen left in Australia. ;)
