Tas vs NSW Ford Ranger

A three from Aaron Bird on the last ball was enough to tie the match. The Blues needed 12 to win off the last over, but got 11 to ensure each side got some points. Dave Warner hit 97 off of 54 balls before Doherty dismissed him leg before. Brendan Drew conceded just 36 runs off of 10 overs for the Tigers, in a match where both sides scored 291 runs each.

I had never heard of Dave Warner until a week ago when he hit 160 odd off about 90 balls. He obviously is very capable of flying along and has done it two digs in a row. Anyone know how old he is and how long he has been around REB you should know as he is a blue boy.

Is it the same bloke who caused a stir by bowling off-spin and leg-spin in the same match last season?

Warner is a rather young fella, 22 years of age...does like to hit a ball just ask brett geeves, who has been hit for over 100 in his last 10 overs against NSW in the last two games...He was also fired by the ump on the LBW possibly worst decision of all time...was shocking!!!!!!!! will be interestng to see if he can do it on a constant basis!

That umpiring decision cost us the match. Another two or three overs of Warner and she was all over. No good nodding your head when you are wrong you GOOSE. Another top innings by the pocket rocket!

I saw some highlights on fox earlier this morning and that guy is a midget. I didn't see him bat but i am guessing he plays the pull and hook shot well as nearly everything would be that high for him. Who was the umpire? There wasn't a guest appearance by Rudi was there :D ;) .

NSW through this game away as soon as Warner got out the run rate slowed don and gave the Tassie boys a bit of a sniff. For most of the NSW innings Tassie had 4 subs on the field 2 of there bowlers we off injured even Bailey a very part time bowler got an over and did better than some of the real bowlers only allowing 2 runs off his 1 over. Entertaining game and Tassie were luck to get any points out of it.
