having a look at spinners around the nation
Bryce McGain (Vic) 57 FC wickets @ ave. of 33.82
Cameron White (Vic) 162@38.55
Beau Casson (NSW) 110@40.65
Dan Cullen (SA) 120@41.50
Aaron Heal (WA) 28@43.17
Cullen Bailey (SA) 55@46.36
Nathan Hauritz (NSW) 63@49.57
Jason Krejza (Tas) 43@50.09
Xavier Doherty (Tas) 61@55.62

Holland, S.Smith (NSW) and O'Keefe (NSW) haven't played enough to read anything into their averages and MacGill has retired from international cricket. Probably some others I missed. Didn't look into One Day stats because that's a whole different ball game.
A lot of people questioned White's test selection (with McGain out injured) but the above makes his case a strong one.
Although stats don't tell the whole story, if Holland is as good as the great mal proclaims, could Vic have Australia's 3 top spinners?

MCGAIN
May miss the whole season with a shoulder injury
Early reports suggest he will miss a minimum of 2 months, maximum of the season
At Mcgains[37?] age that could be the end of his first class career

The door is open for another spinner
One step closer for Jon DUTCHY Holland

Had 2 LBW decisions turned down both looked very very out[including Symonds]
The commentators said this about the 2nd one

"WHAT WAS THAT MISSING."
John MOSS: Thats plumb out, extraordinary decision

He was very impressive again
I know the career is in infancy
But, he looks a very good bowler

Could he be a left arm spinning Test bowler of ilk ?
Ray Bright
Murray Bennett
Alan Border
Michael Clarke
Boof lehmann
Just a few lefties to play in the last 30 years

The way DUTCHY strides in looks very Bishen Bediesque
if he is 66.2% as good as the bearded shiek of tweek he will be a star
