Simply that when Pura did not renew their naming rights the ACB couldn't find a replacement naming sponsor(maybe this was only news to me)
Corporate sponsorship for sports is becoming more and more scarce - just ask the NBL
The downside of course is potentially less funds for the ACB which I guess will impact the lower levels first
Its interesting because when they finally did get a naming rights sponsor, it was the sponsor who wanted to revert to the SS, if my understanding is correct.
