No More Banners???

Postby The_Bay_Boy » Fri Nov 18, 2005 12:11 pm

Not sure if anyone saw the cricket today, But it's raining in hobart and as usual old games are shown during the rain delay and i noticed the several banners at the game.

It got me thinking, why don't you see banners at the cricket anymore?

Is it just to much effort for people to make one now days?

They end up at the back at the Adelaide Oval; I think because people complain behind you when you hold them up.

I think with every possible flat surface now being covered with advertising boards its alot harder to put banners up. Mates and I created a banner (paying out rudi) for the super series as we were in the front row of the top tier.

I guess to see a resurgance you would need to have another competition.
