An Aussie Goes Bolly

Postby Squawk » Thu Jan 17, 2008 11:28 pm

Is anyone else watching this on Monday nights on Fox8?

I've quite enjoyed it as apart from being pretty good comedy value, it does actually offer some real insights in to just how passionate the Indians are about their cricket. Last week, the contrast with the crowd in Chandrigargh (Sikh country) vs in the south (Hindus I think) was incredible.
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.

Good show. Gus is a real character and very enjoyable to watch. Did a great job with the Barmy Army last year and is following it up very well with his trip to India.

Yeah really enjoying it, esp with all the other crap on TV at the moment..great insight into Indian lifestyle...

How about the subway system, clean, modern, air conditioned...but them you pop up in the slums!

There is a podcast on 5aa website of a interview with Gus done over the Christmas break, worth a listen...he says if this one is successful he will be off to the West Indies later this year...

Was thinking about other permutations Dutchy - An Aussie goes Calypso, An Aussie goes Kiwi,
An Aussie goes Cape (Sth Africa). Holland might be An Aussie goes Cookie!
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.
