what has happened to the traditional 11am start? why change something that is in my book sacred, the same with pura cup matches, leave it alone CA!

TV mate, with slow over-rates TV stations want to ensure play finishes at 6:00 pm (in Australia) for the news bulletins. If teams are going to go slow you (CA) start play earlier...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

It is to do with the extra half hour they are allowed to make up for time losses and slow over rates. No point having the extra time starting after 6 when the umps will only offer bad light most of the time.
