In fact it seems 1 good innings as a bowler in the entire season is enough to score 7.5/10 from SA cricket's greatest critic (or so I thought ) on SAFooty.

Dizzy needs scruitiny too rather than all these excuses made for him or calls for him to be captain. R-R I am not saying he shouldn't be in the team - just that he shouldn't be a protected species just because he a legend (which he is) and because he is scoring runs (which is great on its own)

The vitriol gets targetted on a handful of guys in the team it seems sometimes - while some of our favourite sons can't do anything wrong. Maybe I am just reading too much into the posts.

To be fair, Mal, he missed the equivalent of a season through his knee injury. However, I take your point that he has not done as well as many would have wished for or expected.
