I'm not defending the ad. In fact, I reckon, judging by Graham's post, Collingwood players could feature in an award winning commercial, that the whole world loved, and he'd still hate it because it features 'Poowood' players.

All those legendary VFL footballers from the 60s on a bus together singing about Four n Twenty Pies???

Yeah played for the Blues as well. Little bottler he was, tough as nails, just a bit small & slow (not good for a AFL player).

The new Ford one's pretty good. Just saw it.

Symonds and Clarke. Hayden and Hussey.

Debating backyard cricket in the rain.

Haydos: "are you worried about your fake tan coming off Pup?"

Gold.

Mo Matthews - I drove him around Perth for the Legends Twenty20 last year ... funny, crazy cat!

Best ad's

Castrol - "Gilly, Gilly, Gilly, Gilly, Gilly"
Maxy Walker's Aerogard ads - "Remember the Aerogard and avagoodweegend"
West Indies (c. 1975-76) for Brut 33 - "hee hee"
C'mon Aussie C'mon - WSC promos 1978-79 ... revolutionary at the time (no-one had promoted sport like that and it caused the copycat "Up There Cazaly" in 1979)

I dont mind all the ads with the cricketers, esp the Clarke one. They aren't serious ads and are sooooo much better than 95% of the ads on TV these days.
