Root became the first player to score 1000 test runs at Old Trafford (1128 @70.5) and now has 38 test hundreds, the equal forth most with Sangakkara. It's the 12th hundred against India and 23rd at home.

Just a wonderful player Joe Root. His past 4 to 5 years has been unbelievable. Hard to see him not going past Tendulkar with how much cricket we play.
