It's probably on Monday because the Australian Open men's singles final is on Sunday. I suspect that TV ratings are the main factor.

One would think the tennis is reason but that hasn’t stopped them in the past.

Ah yes of course! Lucky they have the Monday public holiday then otherwise the two events would obviously clash.

Just seen the scorecard and saw that Wade showed his class. Clearly should still be in the national team.
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!
