Yep, Honourable Losses, that what we want. Better than getting thrashed i spose but FFS Tassie have proved they can chase down big targets so why not make it harder for them. they were always going to have ago anyway.

Stumps wrote:sporting? the only reason it was sporting is cos the redbacks backed themselves into a corner by batting too slow this morning. i thought they would get at least 30 or 40 more runs setting the tigers more runs in the same overs- in that situation the batting side should be all out going for the absolute slog- why keep 3 wickets in the shed?

How has the SA side been captained this game ???
It is what it is !!!

I agree JJ but these guys have been getting slammed across forums, media etc, yes Adcock (and I don't agree he should be captain) took a chance, if it come off we all put our heads between our legs, as I said in my post I would have made the chase impossible. As for the captaincy I don't think we can really comment because we haven't seen it first hand but I am a little besumed that Cullen hasn't bowled since tea and Lehmann is bowling at the minute, unless of course Dan has an injury

All over bar the shouting, easy win to Tas by 6 wickets, guess it goes to show, despite our tail getting runs in the first dig if the top order and the tail did it there could have been a far different result, still as I said before not all is lost, there were some encouraging signs to come out of the game not like the last one

Geez, I would've never expected Tassie to chase down that many in that amount of time. A great run chase and a very smart declaration by Ponting in the first innings. Must have been a belter of a pitch.

Well done to Manou and Gillespie on their tons. Hopefully Manou has a good year and repays the faith the selectors have shown in him. Good to see Delmont get a 50 in his first match. Batting in the top order still a massive problem...

At the end of the day it's another loss...

I can understand Adcock 1 - making a result for both sides possible and 2 - backing his bowlers in that's our strength

This time our bowlers let us down - a couple of early wickets and we would have been right amongst it. You'd think Tait and Dizzy are as capable of early wickets as anyone.

At least we keep our 1st innings points we need to at least acknowledge some improvement from the 1st game altho still lots of work to be done

The SA selectors have finally picked a balanced team
MANOUvering the batting with DIETZ opening
And playing the 3rd quick [that third quick made runs !!!!!]

Im stoked that 2 guys who have been questioned marked for some time have performed
ELLIOTT + MANOU
Lets hope they can both maintain the effort
And lets hope Dizzy our star batsman this year can get wickets !

It was one of those games
