Well i pretty much touted clark as another hand-bag bowler, but he bowled well and me look stupid. Well done to him. Excellent effort. And go Aussies, lets flog those big mouthed Seth Efricans.

This result has pretty much wiped out the disappointment of the loss in the one dayer decider last weekend.

Pretty much wiped it out?????? Mate, the one day loss has been obliterated by the test match win, like all test match wins. It is no contest, would take a 0-5 loss in the one dayers to a test series win any day.

In the same way the World Cup win in 1999 was wiped out by the 1st test loss against Sri Lanka at Galle.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I agree with the first part of your post Cornsey as Test cricket is the real deal but the world cup isn't just another (one of the many) meaningless one day tournament. It means something because everybody is there.

Yeah i realise one dayers dont rate in the overall scheme of things compared to tests, but the disappointing thing about the one day decider in SA was that we should have won with our (then) world record total but then butchered it.
