This is something I remember, Ponting being given out when the ball was going over the stumps on 96. Just 4 shy of his first Test Century in his first match. For the record, that was Khizar Hayat's only Test match as an umpire here.

He might have rather been dismissed for 54 so at least he had an average.

They had the highlights of that on TV the other day. Made me feel sad - I remember watching it at the time and being right royally p!ssed off.
