Sorry to Herschelle Gibbs for referring to him as an old hack and then coming out and dominating sides in the BBL.

MICHAEL CLARKE
He averaged 21 against EG in the 2010-2011 Ashes series this time last year
He then struggled in the ODI series
Several posters delighted in ridiculing this magnificent servant of Australian Cricket
There were those who posted he was not a popular skipper
Now he is resurging AU up the Test rankings
Scoring a plethora of tons as skipper, including a triple and a double in recent times
As recent as that NZ loss there were still the detractors
The uneducated having a go at Clarke for playing that outside off peg swish and getting caught behind the wicket for 0
This is a shot that scores him plenty of runs at this level
This same shot has scored runs with a prolific abundance in his unbelievable double and triple tons against India

If ever Clarke knocking posters needed to make a contribution to this excellent thread now is the time

PERTH SCORCHERS
For calling them Dads Army becoz their batsmen were too old
I had posted that
Gibbs
North
Hussey
Katich
Collingwood
as a unit were too old as a batting line up
That they have made the final, and batted well in the BBL, means they have made me look stupid

I apologise
I wuz wronggggggggggggggg

Good 'young' recruit. Klinger has not been nowhere near as good as he was in the first two years.

Still don't rate Dan Christians long format bowling, however his batting has really come on

I apologize for thinking Warner/Cowan/Hughes would be a Test winning top three.

On that same tone I apologise to my mate Posty for sticking up for the selectors more often than not, these two tests in India have proven they are f**kwits with NFI.
