Plenty of spinners have played into their late 30's early 40's. Not like there is a barrel of world class spin bowlers to choose from.

The favourite to win this tournament IMO is Tasmania.

Players available helps big time.

Doolan, ponting, bailey and Paine (after aus a games). That's a cracking middle order.

Plus butterworth, Faulkner (who can bat) and hilfenhaus to lead the bowling stocks

Great balanced side IMO

Didnt see any of the game but nice to see Redbacks win under three days, dont know but maybe the pitch was produced to get an outright result instead of that boring flat deck.Well done to the pace bowlers, our depth in that area has improved dramatically this season.Dont have much time for Chuck but shield team should now after too many years being the laughing stock, turned the corner and stay off the bottom of the ladder.

The pitch has had more grass on them because of Adelaide oval curator can only use 5 of the 8 pitches normally use.
