Richardson is worth much more than Christian in T20 cricket IMO.

Good on him! It's obviously up to the IPL clubs on how much they think a player is worth so if they want to pay Richo 700k for his time there then thats their decision (they obviously think they will get a good return for investment).

I agree Christian is a better batsmen.

I would view Richo as a bowling allrounder and Christian a batting one.

I think Richos best discipline bowling is better than Christians best discipline of batting.

I may have been a little harsh on Christians bowling but I don't think it is any good in T20 cricket.

Christians half trackers are no good in t20 cricket . He would have a very high economy rate. Richardson is good at death bowling which is key in t20 cricket, I think this is why he went for so much coin.

Richo keeps getting talked up as an all rounder, but with a batting average of 13 (FC), 7 (List A) and 6 (T20) he is the same as Sayers and Worrall in being bowlers who occasionally score a couple of runs if needed

I think his FC average will improve over time.

I wouldn't take much notice of a persons List A and T20D average if they bat 9,10,11. Facing the last 2 or 3 ball of an innings regularly doesn't do much for ones average.
