match referee jeff crowe makes a big stuff up. tells umps that the match has to be played out despite the fact that 20 overs has to be faced to constitute a match which as match referee he SET.

so after 20 overs SL were behind the R/RATE, behind the D/L rate.

Australia were the deserved winners of the World Cup.

The end was a complete farce though. I though the 1992 semi was a farce but this was worse! I thought it was dark at Thebarton in the last quarter Wednesday but that was darker. Would have been hard seeing the umps (dressed in black) lol.

The presentation was just as farcial. Tony Cozier could have at least rehearsed the script, rather than stumble through it. Also, probably should have got someone with more media experience like Michael Holding to do the presentation.

Given the ICC are being a bit more rotational with the World Cup, it'll probably be back in the West Indies, but not for at least 30 years.

Im glad its over. Boooo to the West Indies organisers
