Narine about to debut for the W.I. now he's finished the IPL CRAP and immediately has Bell in trouble.

Stumps Day 4:
WI 426 all out
D Ramdin 107* (183 balls), TL Best 95 (138) the highest ever Test score by number 11, MN Samuels 76 (114)
G Onions 4/88 (29.3 overs), TT Bresnan 3/111 (34), ST Finn 3/109 (32)

ENG 5/221 (58 overs)
KP Pietersen 78 (81 balls) took Narine to the cleaners, IR Bell 76* (137)
TL Best 2/37 (12 overs) the only multiple wicket taker.

The superstar mystery spinner, saviour of the West Indies, Sunil Narine 0/70 (15), the part time offie, back from career threatening match fixing ban, Marlon Samuels 1/29 (9), stopping Pietersen from blitzing another hundred.

Do the West Indies really need a spinner??

Absolutely they do. Samuels is simply a part timer like Gayle was when he played.
Narine will have his day in the sun if they persevere with him and he's not playing that IPL crap.
He had the Aussie batsmen in all sorts of trouble in their recent 1 day series b4 he pissed off to the IPL.

Pitch is not conducive to spin, Swann regarded as one of the best spinners in the world 0/85 of 26.

We are looking at the re-birth of West Indian cricket here.
Darren Bravo, Dwayne Smith and Darren Bravo are the key future stars, with now-veterans Chanderpaul, Gayle, a soon to return Ramnaresh Sarwan, as well as Test players Kirk Edwards and Kraigg Braithwaite, and Marlon Samuels and Kieron Pollard floating around.

Denesh Ramdin is finally blossoming as a wicketkeeper-batsman at number seven, and with Roach, the improving skipper Sammy, Rampaul, and spinner Narine (if we have to), there's the makings of a very good cricket team.

CHRIS Gayle is set to put more than a year in the international wilderness behind him when West Indies face England in the opening match of their one-day series at Southampton on Saturday.
