Good work, but Bravo's the other night was better, even though it wasnt a catch in the end.

Also by doing this it eliminates the hard part of taking a catch like that - holding it once you hit the ground.

Not the greatest catch I've seen but it was still very clever.

good teamwork, but the bloke taking the catch isn't exactly taking a ripper.
great work from the first fielder to make the opportunity there, but the fielder who took the catch didn't do anything especially good.

As good as any i reckon.
Hard to compare the great catches that come to mind because they're all different circumstances but as the years go by, the John Dyson catch back in the 80s ? is looking more and more regulation every day.
As much as i didn't like McGrath, i reckon the catch he took in the outfield at Adelaide Oval along with the NZ guy who caught Gilchrist at Etihad stadium would be hard to beat along with a few i've taken in the Gully over the last 30 years tho unfortunately they've never been caught on camera. :(

@GN.

I was on the outer side of the AO and as McGrath landed I yelled "**** ME HE CAUGHT IT!" before the rest of the crowd had picked up on it.

Had several smart mouths ready to accept my celebratory suggestion. ;) Sadly, the only female crowd member even mildy interested was scared off by my mates telling her about my wife and kids. :lol:
