Another ton for Dizzy

Postby RustyCage » Fri Apr 20, 2007 8:25 pm

Dizzy has scored the second 100 of his first class career while playing for Yorkshire against Surrey.

He put on a 246 run 9th wicket partnership with Tim Bresnan, an allrounder (bowler). Im guessing it would be some sort of record, if not for county cricket, at least for Yorks.

123* not out to be exact (top score) 192 balls, 21 x 4s =D> =D> =D> =D>

World 1st class record for 9th wicket partnership was 283 by J Chapman and A Warren for Derbyshire against Warickshire at Blackwell in 1910.
