IF you take away the sundries this is how the 3rd Test eventuated
29/507 OTHERS
1/180 WARNER

Australias batsman scored 189 without Warners runs
AU lost 10/155 after being 0/214

The other batsman not including the openers
MARSH 11
PONTING 3
CLARKE 18
HUSSEY 14
THE BRAD 0

AU were 0/214
With such a great start, and should have gone on to make about 500
0/214
6/303
Not good enough from the their batters

Without Warner
IN 156
AU 9/189 [including Cowan]
IN 162

This Test appeared one sided on the scoreboard
But it was even apart from one mans batting performance

Last time AU chased a low total NZ won

Our bowling attack has improved markedly, so much so that I believe We would bowl out any side now BUT, to win against the poms, We would need to bat first because Our batting is still crap & We wouldn't want to be chasing anything over 200 against them.

I have heard this will be the grassiest AO pitch for a very long time. Expect it to do plenty.

It will on the first day but we all know Adelaide Oval always delivers a 4+ day Test match every year. I can't see any reason why they will change their formula.

Take out our best performed bat and we still score more than India! Do the same to India with their best bat and it looks one sided again. Cricket is a game like that, one player gets going and the team builds around that. With only 6 recognised batsman in most test sides the burden on individuals is huge. Last test Ponting, Clarke and Hussey did the job. This test is was Warner and Cowan. Sounds more like a well oiled batting outfit that someone's always going on with it.

Wrong. Starc's natural shape is into the right handed batsman, not slanting across him. I believe he has a future.

And needs to learn how to move the ball across the batsmen, nearly ever lefty's natural shape is into the right hander.

As a left-arm pace bowler he should use his stock ball as a leg cutter and preserve his wicket ball as the one that comes back in, by bowling continuous leg-cutters his natural ball will go through quicker and take the batsman by surprise.
