if johnson makes another appearance in the baggy green we are doomed, he is finished thanks to pattinson, starc, cummins and siddle. can see harris heading the same way as he is too much of a lemon

Hopefully you are wrong about Harris but I fear you are right.

Yeah and we have a great batch coming through aswell.
Mitch Marsh bowls mid 130's and I believe is good enough to bat top 6.
Josh Hazelwood is by most reports the pick of the young blues quicks, has an awesome action and array of deliveries.
Then you have guys like Cutting, George, Herrick, Behrendorf.
Great talent in the quicks coming through

How can he be in the mix?
I cant be bothered looking up his 1st class stats maybe someone else will but at a guess his batting average would be under 30 and his bowling average over 30. That doesnt put him in an allrounder category let alone one skill or the other

To be fair, his brother keeps getting picked so it's only fair to assume that being any good at cricket is not a prerequisite for getting a Baggy Green. Steve Smith also backs up this point.

Mitch Marsh might become a decent allrounder but he has a hell of a long way to go and a hell of a lot to prove. Lots of blokes can bowl at 135 plus but that doesn't mean they are any good. I am unsure what the fascination with speed gun readings is to be honest. I would personally look at results but each to their own. Also he might want to make some runs consistently at first class level although given his brother's example that's obviously not necessary.
