First Class Cricket Talk (International and State)

see where your coming from CP but dont know about scratchy :!: - anyway doesnt matter.
Last night punter hit the ball that bloody well it was frightening- not your big swing cow corner style of hitting but class shots and even his defesive shots were hitting mid off and on with speed- a pleasure to watch.
I reckon the aussies targeted lara and shiv big time in the field last night- lara nearly had haydos too when he presumed clarke would take him on for the single- would have been a big wicket i reckon

I just read that it will be on 9 at 11pm and Fox at 10:45pm Adelaide time.

And my little dummy spit worked - as it ensured that regional viewers on the WIN network will be getting the game from 11pm.

Woo hoo - power to the people!

HUSSEY drops a catch to a miscued pulled shot of SARWAN, 1 run
LARA drives head hight past PONTING at point who failed to get a hand to it, 4 runs
and wait for it
LARA drives to SYMONDS who misfields a gimme, 1 run

After the four thumpings Australia have produced, someone would be unlucky to get dropped. Hodge would have to be cricket's unluckiest bloke!

Agree 100% blink. Hodge extremelly unlucky. Can't believe i'm saying this but a bit of pressure on Hussey maybe? Probably a bit premature to be suggesting that

If Clark plays who gets left out? Perhaps give a couple of bowlers a rest in the games against Ireland and Bangladesh (although take them lightly at your peril). This could give Clark a couple of games just to stay somewhat match fit in case he is required later on in the tournament.

My favorite batsman of all time. Best i have ever seen. I only stayed up to watch while he was at the crease and even at 37 he's still got it. What a star.

AND ... Always plays well against the best team in the world ... I switched off just after Hoggy took his 1st wicket but wouldn't have been surprised to have read this morning that Lara had played a lone hand to get the Windies over the line, one of the greatest batsmen ever imo.

At this stage yes easily.

Hes batting like a left handed Kevin PIETERSON.

Pietersen has a long way to go before he is in the same class as Matthew Hayden.

I wonder who the number 1 ranked o/d player in the world is :?:

Again with stats mal :? Will you ever learn :?:

Sir Kevin PIETERSON is ranked the number one batsman in o/d cricket.
Not only do I think he is, but so does a comprehensive ratings system.
Wont be long before Ross TAYLOR makes the top 10 as well

Ross Taylor won't make it to the top if he keeps cramping up though.
