SL won the toss and are batting first. Malinga in for them.

No changes to our side.

Lee to Dilshan, OUT, Inswinger. Timber. Dilshan has been a touch late with the fuller deliveries, and this one is slightly shorter than the driving length, and sneaks in through the big gap between bat and pad. Middle stump is out, Lee is thrilled
TM Dilshan b Lee 24 (23b 4x4 0x6) SR: 104.34

Johnson to Tharanga, OUT, Johnson strikes. His red-hot form continues. Digs this one in short, outside off, Tharanga looks to sway out of the line, but doesn't quite take the gloves out of the way. The ball doesn't quite rise up, and kisses the glove on the way

Not that I am complaining, but 46 overs gone, six bowlers used, and specialist fielder Steve Smith has not had a bowl...

Why is he in the bloody side? a dedicated number seven bat?

I agree, BUT!!!!

He's an all-rounder in the Australian team, and if he is not good enough to get a bowl, then they should drop him from said team...

I agree, if Smith isn't going to bowl then bring in a better batsmen. Preferably a younger batsmen in the ilk of a Marsh / Ferguson / Christian (anyone but White basically) etc.

Good to see Bollinger doing well, didn't really rate him as a one day bowler but very happy to see him do well. Make you think if he was playing in the world cup infront of Tait how things might have been.....

Also I hope we stick with Doherty from now on in all forms of the game, he isn't the greatest spinner ever but he is 50 times better than Michael Beer.

Watto gone for 43 off 51. Very good innings, but after he went mental with 4-4-6, he went into composed mode.

I prefer mental Watto. ;)

Easy win in end. Our bowlers are getting the job done, on those postage stamp grounds 260 is required and once again we restricted them to a below par score which takes the pressure off the batsmen. Our batsmen didnt look in any trouble chasing that down
