We've seen what he can do, has been ok in shorter forms but we need to build.

Can't believe he got a CA contract. Will never play Test cricket and form in T20 and ODI for Aus has been useless.

What's wrong with his 12's off 18 balls?

A Tremendis win for my wallet too :)

Got odds of $2.30 during the game where it was about 1/50 odd with Mahela slaying our bowlers.

Back to the game, good figures by Hastings but one game isn't going to change my opinion on him, however looking at the stats our bowling looked decent. Maybe Dussey could of bowled another over.

I said earlier that Ajantha Mendis would rip through us, we havent faced him enough to be able to read him like the Indians apparently can. Pretty poor effort to lose from the position we were in. Nice to see White make a few runs.....finally

I think there is a place for D.Hussey in the T20 XI, just not as a middle order batsman, I find his bowling is useful in this format, he could come in at 8 and paddle it around if required or have a slap with no pressure on him if he fails, it's like he's batting for his spot every time and get's out before he has a chance to start striking at 100+, same as Smith.

Our complete inability to play spin bowlers is a absolute joke. Test series could get ugly.

If I were them I would pick 3 spinners. They are going to doctor the wickets up something shocking when they look at our "spinners".

If I were the Sri Lankans I wouldn't even play Mendis during the one-day series, just sit on him and unleash him on us at the start of the Test series by not letting some of our Test batsman like Clarke, Ponting, Watson etc to get a good look at him. I'd suspect he would run rampant given our long inability to cope with top quality spin bowling especially in the sub-continent.

Was Mendis actually that good? I've only seen highlights but looks like we were simply missing fairly straight ones that turned only slightly.

Gee that Steve Smith one looked good didn't it, how ugly does this bloke look. What do they see in him, legs were out at square leg, bat was held in the most awkward position I've ever seen. FGSFHO!!
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

He's one of the ugliest batsmen to watch I've ever seen. Should be nowhere near our international teams for at least the next 12 months.
