The man Douggggggggggie a lethal red ball bowler, now lethal with a white ball toight
Marsh in a new role in the middle order plays one of the all time great digs
The skipper captaining his team superbly once again

This summer is evening up
1-3 TESTS
1-1 20/20
2-0 ODI

Teams 4-4 all now

Nice try Mal, by the end of February we won't remember the shorter formats and we have to put up with 3 years of Ashes memories, unless they flick Tony Greig of course. But I will try that one on the overseas invaders at work - I'll get back to you.

Bully , winning is infectious
better to win these games, had we been losing the grim reaper press and safooty pessimists would be out in force
These wins are taking the pressure of Clarkeys boys

AU stuggled in the mid 80s
We won the 1987 World Cup
1989 we started the domination of world cricket

It was a great win with 2 bowlers down
A great win from 4/33 + 8/142
Whites innings, although slow was neccessary and got Marsh going and was set up for Dougggggies run a ball cameo

Nor MALly these games dont mean much to me
But they are becoz AU is fighting for credibilty

Can't agree more Mal. Now Sam we took a vote on another forum and any talk of the Ashes has been banned from these forums until we win them back.

On what i have seen so far of Tait this summer, and pulling up injured again tonight, i think he is a liability in the AUS side, surely there is no way you can take away a bloke who struggles to get through 10 overs per game!?

Surely there are better quick options going around OR break the mould and pick another spin bowler or slow/medium bowling option!

Why do people constantly think you need 3 quicks, a keeper opening batsman and 4 all rounders to have a successfull ODI side!!

Just what we need, a Mike Brearley.
A player picked because someone rates his captaincy.

Haha not even close to even.

They smashed us in the important stuff and now are playing sub standard blokes to fill the numbers in a series that is about as important as a one of test in Zimbabwe.

Well played to Dougie though Mal ;)

Been working all bloody day and night so couldn't chime in at the time, but getting sick of being right with my assessment of Smith, one I made near on 6 weeks ago. I'm an arm chair bum, but I can spot a lack of talent a mile away. Selectors see what??
