Blewett for smith was the way to go as well i think
It's hard to win when your not playing your strongest side week in week out ](*,)

CAREY 18
CULLEN is a condemmed man he is out of the p/cup team
and may be out of the o/d team soon, so that wicket could have been
a career saving wicket perhaps.
As I keep raving on about, Umpires can destroy or prolong careers.
BAILEY is now the number 1 spinner p/c and thats why CULLEN is being culled.

VI 3/242 [42.4] an outstanding effort
HODGE 115*[100] over a run a ball, I believed we could not get him out tonight
HUSSEY 22[20] a rare failure

DIZZY 1/36[9.4] another top effort
R HARRIS 1/62[10] he needs to improve
CLEARY 0/33[5] needed the run..bowled 1 over more than Cosi
COSGROVE 0/27[4] ITS NOT HIS FAULT HE BOWLS ITS HIS STUPID CAPTAINS
CULLEN 0/52[8] the heat is on Danny now
ADCOCK 0/31[6] ok for a part timer

Outclassed by a better team, who may have had the momentum after the successful
322 run chase in the p/cup.

Yes it ended up disappointing but look at the batting line up
238 is a good score for them.
Its just enough to be competitive.

My odds

VI $1-25
SA $3-50

IF COSGROVE does not bowl

VI $1-40
SA $2-80

Who is gunna get HODGE + HUSSEY out :?:

COSGROVE bowled  whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy ?????
HUSSEY got out but HODGE did not

Can not for the life of me figure out why Cosgrove continues to get a bowl. Surely there is a better option.

There is: D.Harris. Maybe the p.cup spell I saw him bowl in tandem with cossie was a fluke; but he's at least worth a shot over the other alternative...

Not that it would have made any difference to the result but Cosgrove actually shouldn't have been out as the delivery to him by Hodge was delivered with his front foot outside the far "tram line" - hence it should have been a no-ball but the umpire didn't pick it up. Also, I don't think Ryan Harris was out either as I felt the benefit of the doubt should have gone to him in that run-out as Crosthwaite's gloves appeared to break the stumps fractionally before he collected the ball and the tell tale sign for mine was that he had another stab at it after the bails had already been dislodged.

There doesn't appear to be a lot of options available for the backs rod. No wonder Manou's body language is poor..anyone who has attempted to captain a cricket side with a pop gun attack can only maintain the charade of positivity for so long..and it's been a long season for the Redbacks. Tait would have made a huge difference last night *insert "Captain Obvious" graphic*

Interesting to note that Matty Elliot is up in the leaderboard for the player of the year in the Franger Cup.

regards,

I think people should get of Cosgrove's back (it may take a while) about his bowling. He gets a bowl because he has a One Day International bowling average of...................................13.00

Geez this is better than G.McGrath, B.Lee, S.Clarke maybe we should start critising them.

By the way im been sarcastic.
