Moo Moo with four games to go

Postby Rik E Boy » Tue Jan 23, 2007 9:49 pm

Tasmania has leapt to the top of the Moo Moo cup table after defeating Qld. With four matches to play there are four states still in with a chance. SA is stone motherless on only four points and NSW are faltering badly in recent matches and the inability to finish off a winning position against the Bushrangers in their recent clash will prove very costly as they are now an outright behind with just the four matches to go.

Yes, there is still some real cricket being played in Australia. I'd like to see the Tigers claim the Moo Moo but I have a sneaking suspicion that the Vics will be about the place come March.

Much depends on which squad goes to West Indies.

TA will be sweating on HILFENHAUS
VI on WHITE+ HODGE
QL on WATSON + HOPES + HAYDEN
WA on VOGES
NS lost momentum when HenREBiques got injured
SA are SA

QLD were unbeatable with thier strongest teams
VI + TA are moo moo favorites to paly in a final
VI should be favs. to win

I'm not too sure about the Bulls there Mally. Still relying on Bichel, Kasprowicz, Perren, Maher, to a lesser extent Love. Watson has turned out to be a lemon, Johnson has been selected by Australia. Their keeper isn't too bad (but below Ronchi and Paine and maybe Crosswaithe as well) but can you name an upcoming batsman who looks the goods for the Bulls. I sure as shit can't. Oh that's right, they've got your man Hopes heh heh.

Yeah no probs ROD
I was trying to work out which players would be unavailable in March
when the P/C final coincides with the world cup.
Watson is a regular if fit.[in o/d teams]

Don't make me agree with you mal   Watson was born to play one day cricket. Cam White the same. Neither up to the real stuff though.

I reckon White will end up with the better test career than Watson.

Agreed mally. Our year is over so why rush him back? Very poor batting by the Blues tonight. Not a bad effort in the field with six bowlers not available due to national duties, retirements from ODD's and defections to the team who didn't find a spot for him LOL. How about that Warner? An 18 year old who can bowl offies and leggies. Granted he does need to learn to land the ball a lot more often than he does but I get the feeling we won't be keeping the Redbacks company for too long with Coyte, Warner, Christian and Cowan all making strides this season and Henriques hopefully returning to full fitness next year..all we have do now is get rid of Katich...perhaps a phone call to the SACA might be in order.

NS 9/181
HADDIN 39 [41] a star
JAQUES 54[75] hes baaaaaaaaack
KATICH 3 [23]
CHRISTAIN 2 [8] Hes in the MA Lnext generation stable
HENrebIQUES 23[29] rebs boy is back
HILFENHAUS 2/26 outstanding again

TA 7/183
PAINE 43 [78]
BAILEY 42[35]
BOLLINGER 3/30

REB I noticed that WARNER[Brodie Atkinson lookalike] bowled offys + leggies
He is 18, at 18 I was doing the same too bloody hard and unique
Looks a player.
He was stiff not to have DOHERTY LBW out with 10 needed to make them 8 for.

WRIGHT +COYTE had a few verbals, I could lip read .......

KATICH has either :
Watched Fleming from NZ captain
Or read this website for advice
He did captain well.
But 3 [23]

REB
The man of the match went to your boy not mine
How the f..k does PAINE 43[78 BALLS] get man of the match in front
of my boy George BAILEY who hit 42[35 balls]
Im dumbfounded.

REB are you impessed with George 'who' BAILEY
he is one of the sweetest hitters in the cosmos.
That hook for 6 of BOLLINGER was awesome, Dougie bowled well tonight.
