Average performance in a bowler-dominated "series."

I'm not too worried, the big fella will be back to his best in Aus (I hope)

He runs hot and cold way too much IMO and certainly struggled against Pakistan because of it. He'll probably come good just in time for the Ashes.

And when he is running hot they rest him and it takes a series for him to get back into it.

Hopefully this is his series that he struggles, and he can kick back into gear now...

For some reason he really seems to struggle in England. Arm in a dodgy position at the point of delivery, scrambled seam, no swing and inaccurate as well. Who is coaching this man? Can we get DK or Alderman to have a chat with Johnson because when he is up and about he's our best bowler.

Could there be anyone else who has such a vast difference between their best and their worst, and his best is match winning.

A few stats

1st innings of match
11 times bowled
29 wickets
34.55 ave
3.65 econ
0 5wi

In Australia v Outside Australia
17 Test Matches 17 (15)
84 Wickets Taken 71 (59)
25.59 Average 30.92 (36.20)
3.08 Econ rate 3.38

These look even worse when you take out his wickets against the duds from over the ditch (in brackets above)
