Joke
NO
The selectors who picked a limited overs basher to captian and play 5 day cricket are the joke
Afridi is a talented player in limited overs games
Asking Afridi to skipper is akin to AU making Dvaid Warner captain of the Test side

Mal, I have seen Afridi play some good test match innings. I have also seen him play more than two balls before trying to have a slap.
The selectors asked him to take the job. If he thought his temperament wasn't good for it, he shouldn't have taken it. Once he accepted the job, he needed to show the maturity that being captain requires.

Umar Gul 4/61
Mahammad Asif 3/77

Well done lads, a good win. Did anyone else think it was really odd having two different Man of the Match awards- Katich for us and Butt for Pakistan?

Marcus North and Steven bowled well but the balls they bowled that got them their wickets weren't the greatest of deliveries. The Pakistani batsman as usual just got themselves out in some disgraceful ways. I thought being from the Sub Continent they were decent players of spin bowling? I guess not.
