Daryl Cotter coaching Elizabeth will be huge for the club, wonder how many of their past players will come back.

A northern club on the easy D7 flag merry-go-round smells more success and recruits players

Say it ain't so ...

First time Elizabeth has ever even been in division 7 and never really had the standard northern suburbs club sluts play for them. Not sure we can throw them in the same category as the Brahma lodges of the world

Yes we can they're all the same.

Just wish there was a Northern Football League like we have Southern so we can **** them all off and they can cannibalise each other.

Hearing a couple of good signings out of Hackham which will make them even stronger. Spencely an ex junior and a nice pick up for them

Gone quiet here, but agree Hackham look much stronger. Daish from CLG, Spencely is 50+ goals and they've retained almost everything they had.

Perhaps some players simply don't like being in the spotlight and would rather let their footy/performance do the talking. It may have been a personal choice for him to not be posted publicly in the end. From what I understand, that's been the case at other clubs he's been at previously.

Seems unlike him. The mail I received was that he signed for huge dollars then backed out of the contract after the club told him they wouldn't up his deal to pay over the legal amount. Apparently Spencley was convinced by the Hackham coach to give things another go and come out to train?

Has anyone heard otherwise?

I heard he asked for more money than initially agreed to after the post went up. Then they called his bluff and took the post down. They seem to have sorted it out.

You'd think so.. but footy's a funny game.

Expect Brahma to improve on last year, Hackham have been inching closer to the mark for a few years now and Flinders Uni is an unknown quantity.

Mawson Lakes + Central United should remain competitive.. and Mitchell Park are due for a return to finals.

Smithfield is probably the only side I struggle to see showing improvement to be honest.. although their B grade played off in a GF last year so who knows.

Typical Bedge post—it's the same comments every few posts. The only thing that changes is the division or the team. It's starting to get a bit repetitive, mate.
