Best / Consistent Clubs last 10+ years

Curious to see who have been the most consistent clubs over the past 10yrs.

Who fly under the radar?
Who climb the divs well?
Who spiral down?

Think i've got it accurate..

Best:
Goodwood - only club to remain in D1 since 2011. Next best Rostrevor (promoted 2012).
North Haven - gone from D5 in 2011 to D2 2022. Never relegated during that time frame, promoted 3 times.
Westminster - after dropping from D4 to D6 in consecutive seasons, have worked back to D3 and remained for 6 seasons.
Glenunga - D6 in 2011, promoted 6 times, now in D1.

Worst:
Gepps Cross - D1 in 2011 / 2012, been relegated 5 times since then, currently D5.
Eastern Park - D1 in 2011, relegated 4 times including 3 in a row, currently D5.
Greenacres - D4 in 2011, relegated 3 times, currently D7.

Yo-Yo's:
Woodville South - Promoted 4 times, relegated 3 times. Went D6 > D5 > D4 > D5 > D6 in consecutive years.
Kilburn - Reached as high as D2 in 2013, now D5. 3x promotions, 4 relegations.
Rosewater - D5 to D6 and vice-versa 5 times in 12 seasons.

Interesting, clubs who seem to rise rapidly (i.e.consecutive seasons) don't often last before they drop back.

GG raced through the divisions in the 00's.

Plympton have gone alright, never really bottom out, probably due to their weird arse oval.

Salisbury North have been on the bones of their arse to look like going to div 3 but manage to survive.

Unley had a pretty rapid rise up the grades IIRC.

Uni yo-yo a fair bit.

Did they though? I recall them going down to D6 then back to D4.. but reckon they’ve floated around that D4 / D3 mark for most of the last 15yrs

I thought they did, the 00's weren't very kind for my brain cells though.

The Advertiser did a piece last year on the most successful clubs in the past decade by win % which made for interesting reading.

Top 10 went:
ROC
Goodwood
North Haven
PNU
Seaton Ramblers
West Croydon
PAOC
Lockleys
Blackfriars OS
Unley Mercedes

For sheer consistency very hard to go past Goodwood.

You can equally of course say that for the 10 years preceding the last 10 where they were arguably even better.

Cheers mate, impressive rise - but was as I thought, spent a lot of time around that D4 / D3 mark.

Went D6 to D4 in consecutive years.

Still great blueprint for clubs that want to successfully grow and climb the grades.

Mitchell Park has been the best since 1968. Any opinion to the contrary is wrong.

Can't knock their consistency, 2nd only to Fluni and Goody Saints.

For me I really rate and respect North Havens ability to rise from consistently yo-yoing between D4 and 5 to becoming a very consistent performer on the rise in D2. Glenunga have risen, however it was only in 2020 that they would have been relegated if that was in place for that season in D2. Well done to them for re-grouping.

Would be interesting to know how many flags each A grade club has won in the last ten years.

Are you better of being a club slowly and consistently moving up the ranks even if that means you miss out on a few flags or are you better off grabbing a couple of couple flags and then dropping down the grades.

Absolutely agree on North Haven

For goodness sakes, Goody Saints have just completed their 32 consecutive year in Div 1. since 2000 average an A grade premiership every 2 and a bit seasons. there is no discussions.
