C Grade

C4
Edwardstown
SMOSH
CLG
Mitcham
Woody South
CBC
Pembroke
Walkerville
Adelaide Uni

C5
HV
Pulteney
Kenilworth
Lockleys
Salisbury
Adelaide Uni
Eastern Park
Trinity
Smithfield

C6
Elizabeth
Ingle Farm
Hectorville
Para Hills
Mawson Lakes
Brahma Lodge??
Houghton??
Fitzroy??
Marion??

D1
Modbury
TTG
ROCS
PNU
PAOC
Old Igs
North Haven
Golden Grove
Edwardstown??

Where this gets messy is when some of the teams listed don't actually get the numbers up which obviously what the league is dealing with currently. C4 and D1 (made up name) look solid, C5 & C6 will be interesting. Could see some 8-9 x team divisions which means some extra byes. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Scottroo would know for certain but I’d be 100% certain that CLG will have a C Grade

Any club consistently getting 30 plus on the track in January would be a shoe in for a C grade.

Eastern Park might be unlikely
Trinity i believe are trying to get a 3rd side up again.
Been a while since Rosewater had a C grade hasnt it?
Could Smithfield with their influx of players potentially field a C grade?

RW had a C grade in 2017, but withdrew after 2 rounds I think due to lack of numbers..
There's almost enough sides for an extra division. C4, C5, C6, C7 and then D1 with all the D grade sides?

If any C grade sides would be interested in a trial game on Saturday 23 March please let me know.

Our A/B/ Under 18's will be playing a trial but our C grade would like a hit out also. We can host at our oval on the day (but would need to find a suitable time around the other grades) or could do a 10:15 time slot at your ground/ neutral ground.

message me if you are interested.

It looks as though Smithfield could be on the C Grade train

They'll be building a bronze statue of Nizzy down there next surely!

In only a few years - upgraded lights, new coaches boxes, new cricket matting, two womens sides, three mens sides, 3 juniors sides, 1,400 Bunnings BBQ's, 432 new players signed.

Pretty sure them boxes are ticked.

Nizzy is a champion of a bloke who is very popular and everyone respects, he has some great help by his side too.

I heard otherwise tonight. Numbers on the track not indicating a C Grade is on the cards. I guess it depends on track numbers v paper numbers on whether or not it happens

It's in the high 30's mate, C Graders don't train then.

I seen a call out for a C Grade on their facebook page and it had a pretty big response, mainly older blokes and blokes that can't commit to train because of work, might even see number 95 getting out there for long enough to do a hammy.

If clubs only nominated a C grade based on training numbers there would probably be plenty of clubs who wouldn't field a 3rd side. :D

Yeah very true. I guess I'm a bit spoilt with a lot of my C grade boys training already
