2017 was a good year for the Raiders ressies. Awesome pick up of Bombers4eva may have played a part too ;)

Two games and 9%.

They were much improved side on previous years, i'd think they will go well in D7R - but not sure i'd be having them favs just yet.. whilst they won 8 games last year, they "beat" Salisbury West who played an ineligible player early in the year, beat them when they were a rabble by the end of the year, and from memory didn't beat anyone above them?

Last years D6R was one of the worst I can recall in terms of the gaps between sides.

The year before, the Raiders won 2/18 and finished 2nd bottom - they were a better side last year than that season, but it does show how much D6 changed over 12 months.
If SWest hadn't played the ineligible player they would have lost, such was his influence on the game.

Regardless, I think you'll find a few of the older blokes finding a home in our reserves this year, adding some much needed experience to the side.

The standard of coaching was out of this world.

Agreed on both accounts, very good standard with Woody South, West Croydon dominating, then Brahma, Ingle Farm, Trinity, Mitchell Park very even, and if Lutheran didn't suffer so many injuries (and school holidays) no doubt they would've been around the mark.

Was a very tough year with no easy games.

The standard of coaching was top shelf.

Couldnt agree more

Awesome numbers on the track last night. Keep it up lads. Good to see so many new and old faces out having a kick. The skills are looking really sharp and it's only going to get better. Exciting things to come this year for both grades.

Woodward
S Gatto
B Gatto
Cosenza
Keen
Dean Steele
Strawbridge
Phil Hall
Nick Hall
Fuller

Add that to:
Frith
Porter
Grogan
Purcell

Pretty reasonable lineup.. and they've obviously picked up surplus from Eastern Park, North Pines and Smithfield which will bolster their B grade

Well I wasn't aware of all that list. After seeing that they are going to be right up there. Possibly a top 3.
